Todowing

Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for the Todoist web app. Todoist shows sub-tasks as flat rows in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters and Labels. Todowing nests them under their parent, up to four levels deep, and each sub-task row keeps its own due date, priority and labels. You can check off or reopen sub-tasks without opening the parent.

It works with Todoist Free and Pro, in the web app in Chrome or in Todoist installed as a Chrome app window. The Todoist desktop app is not supported.

Free plan: all the nesting features, limited to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task, plus seven color palettes and a text size slider from 85% to 200%. No account needed.

Lifetime unlock ($19.99 once, no subscription): unlimited sub-task rows, adding, renaming and reordering sub-tasks in the list, a hide-completed toggle, focus sessions with a countdown timer and time estimates, filing one task under a parent in another project without moving it, a font picker with fifty Google Fonts, a notes pad above Today, and read-only Apple Calendar events in Today. Future upgrades are included. Refunds are available within 14 days.

Privacy: your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Your tasks never pass through Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking.
